VSAT DSi9 Ka (90 cm)
High-speed internet in Ka-Band
The increasing demand for a fast internet at sea on boats, yachts or any other marine vessel has led to the development of antenna solutions in Ka-band, a band working on higher frequencies than Ku-band, capable of extremely fast and performing data connections between the modem and the satellite.
EPAK DSi9Ka satellite internet antenna can reach very high speeds both in upload and download. Its' solid, rugged and robust design is made to endure the hardest requirements in harsh seas. Completed with fine-tuned components and perfect interaction between each single part of the marine satellite antenna, the DSi9 guarantees excellent network availabilities even under the most challenging conditions and an Internet connection speed at sea never seen before.
The DSi9 Ka-band VSAT antenna is part of the "Evolution Series", EPAK's own development which combines two Gyro techniques for a perfect orientation and stable connection with the satellite. This feature allows the antennas to re-acquire the signal after passing a blockage 30 times faster than conventional tracking technologies, resulting in a reliable and seamless internet at sea.
Pioneers in Engineering
In 2013 EPAK has rolled-out the worldwide first marine satellite internet antenna operating in Ka-band: a revolutionary step based on vision and understanding the benefits for new applications of the Ka-band.
